"The vortical structures collapse in hydrodynamics and Kolmogorov spectra forming"

Abstract:

Using the hamiltonian approach it is considered the collapse of vortical structures in the ideal hydrodynamics under the initial conditions of common type. The typical features of this phenomenon are studied analytically. Then the influence of collapse  events on the forming of turbulence specrtum is investigated. It has been shown that collapse of vortical structures results to fluid turbulization and forming of kolmogorov spectrum for turbulence pulsutaions in the frame of ideal hydrodynamics.
