"Recent
progress in the research of X-ray pulsars Prof. Fumiaki Nagase (Center for Planning and Information System, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan) Abstract: I will give a
brief overview of observational progress in X-ray pulsars made recently
with the ROSAT, ASCA, BeppoSAX, and RXTE. In the later half of my talk, I
wish to present a topics of high resolution spectroscopy of a few X-ray
binary pulsars, such as, 4U 1626-67, Vela X-1 and GX301-2, made with the
Chandra/HETGS (High Energy Transmitting Grating Spectrometer).
