"Linear and nonlinear vibrations in vortex lattices" V.Yu. Zaburdaev, V.V. Smirnov, K.V. Chukbar (Kurchatov's Institute) Abstract: Evolution
of “long-wave” perturbations in different regular lattices of
different (i.e. with different flow functions) 2-d vortices is considered.
Particular emphasis has been placed on qualitative distinctions from
phonons in usual crystals: high sensitivity
to the lattice symmetry, specific degeneration of the dispersion,
coupling between deformation of compression and shear, pseudo
non-Hamiltonian of nonlinear evolution, possibility of explosive
increasing of deformations etc. |
